  • because, owing to its privileged geographic location, the city holds a prominent role in strategic, political and economic terms, favouring direct contact with Central and Eastern European countries, with which Trieste keeps long standing fruitful institutional and economic relations, and which have allowed the city, over the past few years, to act as a bridge towards Western Europe and the European Union

  • Trieste has been appointed as European Capital of Science 2020 (ESOF 2020).

How the brokerage event works

1. Registration

Registration opens on July 28th until September 19th

2. Set up a profile

Next you create a profile that will be visible to other participants on the event website. The profile should describe what you are looking for and you can offer to potential partners.  The sooner you set up your profile, the better chance other delegates will have to request meetings with you.

3. Request meetings

From September 4th to September 20th you can book meetings with other participants who you would like to meet at the event. 

4. Build connections

Prior to the event you will receive an email with your meetings schedule showing who you will meet, what time, and the table number where the meeting will take place.
